BRIGHTWELL & MORAN: What a treat to feature Brightwell & Moran on The Artichoke stage for a Homecoming Concert! Artichoke has been an integral part of their career, as the award-winning songwriters actually met 10 years ago at an Artichoke Open Mic night and have been writing together ever since. Kelly Brightwell even purchased her current performance guitar at the Artichoke store. They have received critical acclaim for their most recent EP, “Land of Plenty”. Kelly Brightwell and Woody Moran will be joined on stage by great friend and pianist Jean-Pierre Garau. When you add Chris Baron & Two Secrets into the concert mix, this becomes a “Don’t Miss This” show!
CHRIS BARON & 2 SECRETS If you have frequented The Artichoke venue in years past, you will certainly recognize the name, Chris Baron. Chris always has a high energy show, and he has entertained us at The Artichoke with various ensembles: The Avett Others; The Tummybuckles; Huge Sally; and simply as Chris Baron. But as many times and variations as you’ve heard Chris, you’ve never heard the way that he sounds with the Two Secrets for this Homecoming Concert. It is simply fantastic. Chris Baron & Two Secrets are coming home to Portland after a 7-week spring tour of the western United States along with a long-anticipated reunion with dear friends Kelly Brightwell & Woody Moran on a Saturday Night on The Artichoke Stage.
Tickets $20 confirmed seat if purchased in advance.
Americana artist Kelly Brightwell and folk-rocker Woody Moran bring their exciting collection of Eclectic Acoustic folk-rock tunes to the Artichoke Cafe stage. Their sound has been compared to The Civil Wars, Birds of Chicago, and more recently to Green River Ordinance. They were the Global Award winners for the 2022 Talent is Timeless Songwriting Contest. Their Artichoke performance will feature solo performances, songs from their new EP, "Land of Plenty", as well as some new material. Joining them for this show are Michael Henchman on bass and Jeffrey Koch on electric guitar. FB event link - https://fb.me/e/3HOvUcMiz Tickets

A night of blues and contemporary folk by three of Portland's own award winning songwriters. This concert will be in the round, replete with harmonies, stories, poems and the magic that's created when three friends share the Artichoke stage. PLEASE NOTE: The performers would like to ask attendees to wear masks during this show. This is their request: "In order to protect the vulnerable and immunocompromised, the artists respectfully ask that those who can wear masks please do so! We will have some masks available at the door for those who need one."
